Glacial Graphics, Started in 1988 by Kurt Peterson. We started as an Auto Body/ Custom Painting shop. Kurt was an airbrush artist and actually charging for his work before he got his drivers license. After attending Wilmar Area Vocational Institute in 1977 to 1979 for Auto Body Repair Kurt Worked in different body shops and well as Fabrication Shops until He started his own business in February 1988. After doing Custom Painting, Truck Accessories and Body Repair for over 15 years on his own, he fell in love with the VTX and one thing led to another, as they say, and here we are, The Sumo-X line of metric accessories was born!
Since then we have become one of the most respected Metric and American V-Twin parts manufacturers in the industry. Having been in Roadbike Magazine 6 times ( April 05, Nov/Dec 06, Aug 07, May 09, Oct 11, March 11) with Kurts' bikes and having many customers with featured bikes also in Roadbike, V-Twin, and Criuser Magazine the Sumo-X line of parts has become world renound.
Sumo-X does the machining, tube bending, welding, painting, custom painting (graphics and airbrushing) powder coating, pattern making, and polishing in house. We also do some builds in house.
Sumo-x is now owned by Pat Goebel. A veteran machinist in his own right. Pat bought the CNC machines and the Sumo-X line in 2023 and moved it to Brooten MN.
