INSTRUCTIONS:A Suzuki Service Manual is highly recommended.
Wheel Install;Step 1;Remove the rear wheel driven joint, O ring, Driven joint stoppers, lock washers, and wheel dampers.(Refer to Suzuki Service Manual section 9-33).
Step 2;Install Wheel dampers, driven joint, stoppers and lock washers in the new wheel.(Note; the photos below is showing the hub only for illustration, there is no need to disassemble an aftermarket wheel)(we use dish soap for easier removal and install.)
Step10:Install brake caliper and lower suspension components; tighten all fasteners at this time to OEM Torque specs.Your rear wheel / swing arm assembly is now installed and you are ready for the fender install!
FENDER INSTALL;
Step 1;Your Fender will come with the struts already installed. Now is the time for paint and rear light wiring.
This fender simply slides over the frame from the rear and mounts with your factory hardware.
Step 4;Remove the rear fuel tank mounting bolt and insert the shim supplied, then replace the bolt with the one supplied in your hardware
Step 5;Fit the new side filler panels. Be sure to LIGHTLY snug the battery box bolts first as you are pushing the filler panel against the frame. Check alignment at this time with the rear struts.Drill the 1/8" holes through the battery box after alignment is satisfied.
Step 6;Remove the filler panel and install the U type speed nuts over the holes you drilled.NOTE: you will have to trim more on the battery box to install these nuts. Trim no more than necessary. Notice the battery box shims
